Biochemical coupling efficiency
Description
The biochemical coupling efficiency may be expressed as the OXPHOS-coupling efficiency, jβP = (P-L)/P = 1-L/P, or ET-coupling efficiency, jβE = (E-L)/E = 1-L/E, which are equivalent at zero excess E-P capacity (ExP = E-P = 0).
Abbreviation: jβP or jβE
