MitoEAGLE Short-Term Scientific Mission

Work plan summary
The aim of this STSM is to participate in the workshop organized in Copenhagen by the leading team of the WG2, which is linked to one of its current projects. The aim of this project is to perform, discuss and standardize different experimental conditions in the assessment of OXPHOS capacity in human permeabilized myofibers. As mentioned in the webpage call, this workshop has been organized only for experimental purposes, so the number of participants will be limited and only researchers involved in this project will be invited. Due to my experience in skeletal muscle High-Resolution Respirometry and participation in previous tasks related to WG2, I have received the invitation from the WG2 leader and the local organizer to take part in this action and contribute experimentally. The workshop will last 5 days (from Monday 6th to Friday 10th of August) in which the project will be developed. During the first day, we will be discussing, setting up, and distributing the tasks needed for the study. The following days (Tuesday-Thursday) are intended for the development of the respective tasks. Last, on Friday the results will be analyzed, discussed, and summarized in order to generate an updated report to be shared with all WG2 participants and invite them to joint discussions.
