- MitoFit preprints is hosted by the MitoFit DOI Data Center.
- MitoFit pre is a free online archive and distribution service for unpublished preprints in mitochondrial physiology and bioenergetics. It is operated by the science team of Oroboros Instruments. Before posting preprints on MitoFit pre, authors should clarify if the journal intended for final publication accepts manuscripts published as preprints.
- Once a DOI number has been assigned to a preprint, it cannot be changed, except if an updated version is posted which will receive a new DOI number.
